A series of six improvised recordings made with my Arturia MicroBrute & or MicroBrute SE...

( which is only different in that it's white, came with a cool messenger bag & stackable patch cables for the Mod. Matrix )

All but one of these compositions is centered around the live modulation of a repeating pattern generated by the Microbrute's 64 step sequencer.

I recorded these performances with Reason 7 & tried to avoid relying too heavily on the use of effects in post production. Instead drawing the line at Timbral enhancements like Equalization & Reverberation. You'll find ( almost ) none of my familiar long Feedback Delays.

So, there you have it. The first couple of months, in what I'm sure will be a long evolving relationship with two new friends. Not a bad first step on my journey towards this:
